i think racism isnt neccasary. there is no reason for it, what so ever. just because someone has a different color skin or they practice different religious beliefs doesn't mean they are unlike you. there is no race or religion that is better than everyone elses.  i have seen these things happen in our school. someone of a different religion was using a discriminating term of another student. but im sure if they were to use a discriminating term against them, they'd be just as affended. i do think this is an issue in our school but not as big as it is in other schools.

In my opinion, there is no reason to commit hate crimes.  Why would one feel the need to discriminate someone because of the way they look? That's all it is.  Hating someone because they look different.  I don't go around yelling at everyone who wears lame American Eagle clothing, why would I yell at a woman with dark skin?
